Jennifer Lopez Moving To LA, Excited About 'Fresh Start' With Ben Affleck: Report

Jennifer Lopez is leaving Florida and moving to California with her kids as she starts a new chapter with Ben Affleck, a report says.

Just weeks after Lopez called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez in April, Lopez reconnected with Affleck 17 years after their 2004 split and has since been spotted multiple times with him. While they have not publicly confirmed that they are dating again, Us Weekly reported, citing an unnamed source, that she and Affleck are officially back together.

Now, an unnamed insider told E! News that the "Hustlers" star "is packing up her Miami rental" and headed to Los Angeles, where Affleck lives, together with her 13-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian.

"She will be between L.A. and the Hamptons this summer, but L.A. will be her base. She is looking at schools for her kids in the fall," the source said of Lopez, though the tipster did not reveal when exactly she is moving to California.

Part of the reason she decided to move was her newly rekindled romance with Affleck, according to the insider. She reportedly wanted to spend more time with the "Argo" star.

"She is excited about a fresh start and pursuing things with Ben. They will be at their L.A. home soon," the insider continued.

Last week, Lopez and Affleck enjoyed a romantic dinner at Wolfgang Puck's restaurant Merois on the rooftop of the Pendry hotel in West Hollywood. They were joined by Lopez's manager Benny Medina and movie producer Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, E! News previously reported.

In photos obtained by Page Six of the outing, Affleck had his arms wrapped around Lopez while she leaned on him as they headed into the restaurant.

Unnamed eyewitnesses told E! News that the singer and actor were not shy about showing their affection for each other throughout the dinner. "He looked great and seemed very happy. She also looked happy and kept leaning into him," one eyewitness said.

"He mixed in well with her friends and seemed very comfortable talking to them and making conversation," the observer continued. "They all had a lot of laughs and a great time."

A day after their PDA-filled dinner, Affleck was photographed driving away from her home in the morning. He even smirked at the paparazzi.

Affleck also drove Lopez to his home in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood on his Mercedes later in the week. Lopez was seen exiting the passenger's side of his car, but he remained in the driver's seat until the gate fully closed, Page Six reported.
