Jennifer Lopez Is The New Guess Girl! Singer Fronting Spring 2018 Collection

Jennifer Lopez is the new face of Guess Jeans!

Lopez is making history by fronting the company's Spring 2018 collection. The 48-year-old performer is the oldest Guess girl in the denim brand's history. But her age is a factor in the campaign, according to Guess.

"Jennifer's impact and influence continues to grow and this campaign celebrates the notion that women get more beautiful and talented as they gain life experience," Guess co-founder Paul Marciano said about Lopez (via Us Weekly). "Her beauty and class shine through this campaign and I am so excited Jennifer accepted to be our new Guess Girl and at the same time 'Femme Fatale' of Marciano."

Lopez is very excited about being the new model for the brand. According to Lopez, she was thrilled when she received a call inviting her to be the new Guess Girl.

"When I got the call from Paul Marciano asking me to become the new Guess Girl, I was thrilled and excited to be a part of such an iconic brand that I have loved since I was a teenager," Lopez recalled. "When I look back at early Guess campaigns through the years, you see all of these beautiful models and iconic images that Paul has created. It is a tremendous compliment to have been selected for Guess' Spring 2018 campaign."

Former Guess Girls include Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Anna Nicole Smith, Gigi Hadid, Adriana Lima and Priyanka Chopra.

Meanwhile, the "Ain't Your Mama" star announced her new gig to her followers by sharing a collage of photos from her Guess shoot on Instagram. In one photo, Lopez wrote: "Guess who's the new Guess girl..."

In other news, Lopez is currently dating former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez. The "Shades of Blue" star previously opened up about their romance and said that she is satisfied and happy with her relationship with the former athlete.

"I'm in a good relationship," Lopez said. "I feel like I can say that for the first time—I don't know—maybe ever. And not that I didn't have great relationships, full of love and adventure, but this is the first relationship I've been where I feel like we really make each other better."

Meanwhile, Lopez's exes have no issues with each other and are friends with her current beau. Last week, her ex-husband, Marc Anthony, and ex-boyfriend, Casper Smart, even hung out together in Miami.
