Jennifer Lopez Not Sure About Marrying Former Fiancé Ben Affleck Despite Rekindled Romance

Jennifer Lopez got candid about whether or not she still sees herself marrying again after three divorces.

Lopez, 52, was set to tie the knot with Alex Rodriguez last year. They pushed back their big day due to the pandemic and eventually called off their engagement in April. She then rekindled her romance with Ben Affleck after her split from Rodriguez.

On Thursday, Lopez spoke with Hoda Kotb on the "Today" show where she was asked about the possibility of marrying again now that she's back with her former fiancé, Affleck. Lopez isn't sure, but she is also not closing her doors, saying she believes in happy endings.

"I don’t know," Lopez said about getting married again as quoted by Us Weekly. "Yeah, I guess. You know me, I’m a romantic, I always have been. … I still believe in happily ever after, for sure, 100 percent."

Lopez has been married three times. She was previously married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001-2003, and Marc Anthony from 2004-2014. Lopez and Anthony share 13-year-old twins Max and Emme. The "Hustlers" actress was also previously engaged to Affleck from 2002 to 2004, and recently to Rodriguez from 2019 to 2021.

Lopez stars in the romantic comedy movie "Marry Me" where her character has some uncanny similarities to her own life. She plays superstar Kat Valdez who has been married multiple times and is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend (Maluma), but she caught him cheating. Heartbroken, Kat sees a man (Owen Wilson) in the audience holding a sign that reads "Marry Me," and she marries him on the spot.

"If you can’t laugh at yourself and just take it as it comes, I just don’t think about those things," Lopez said. "I feel like I'm a human being just like everybody else. I've had my ups and downs. I've made mistakes. I'm really proud of where I've come to in my life, of who I am as a person, as a mom, and as an actor, as an artist. Yeah, it's OK, everybody's got that."

Even if Lopez isn't sure whether she's getting married again, there is no doubt that she is very happy with Affleck. The two were even spotted packing on the PDA in Los Angeles earlier this month when she was about to board a private plane at the Van Nuys Airport.

"They are madly in love," an unnamed source told E! News. "Spending time in different cities during the week has made them miss each other like crazy and fall even more in love."

The couple is planning to spend the holidays together with their kids. They also spent Halloween together with their children. Affleck's ex-wife Jennifer Garner was with them trick-or-treating in Malibu.
