Other than Lopez’s upcoming Spotify collaboration, the judge and executive producer of “World of Dance” Season 1 is also looking forward to the upcoming world finals of the NBC show on Tuesday night. Lopez shared a teaser from this week’s episode via her Instagram account. She also uploaded a GIF of herself reacting to one of the performances in the finale.
Meanwhile, the final three contestants in “World of Dance” Season 1 will perform two routines in the world finals. Eva Igo, Les Twins and Swing Latino will represent the junior, upper and team divisions, respectively. In the sneak peek released by NBC, 14-year-old contemporary dancer Igo dances her heart out and showcases her acrobatic skills.
Parisian brothers Les Twins incorporate their storytelling techniques into their hilarious routine. The Les Twins will no longer feel that they are at a disadvantage this week since Larry has already fully recovered following his foot injury. This means that the twins will both dance while standing. Last week, Larry sat on a wheelchair throughout their entire performance, but they still managed to get a higher score compared to Keone & Mari.
In other news, Swing Latino is also expected to give an exciting performance this week. Since their audition, the team has only danced to upbeat music. They have also incorporated their Latin background to their dances. But since Swing Latino will be performing two routines this week, one of their performances will be much slower than the other one.
After the three dancers have performed, judges Lopez, Ne-Yo and Derek Hough will reveal which one of them will bring home the $1 million grand prize.
“World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
