Jennifer Lopez Unfollows Ex-Fiancé Alex Rodriguez, Deletes His Photos From Instagram

Jennifer Lopez has removed all traces of her ex-fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, from her social media page amid her rekindled romance with Ben Affleck.

Lopez and Rodriguez called it quits in April after two years of engagement and a total of four years together. Months after their split, fans noticed that the singer-actress has revamped her Instagram and deleted all photos and videos of the former MLB star from her account, Page Six reported.

Among the posts that Lopez removed were their shots at President Joe Biden's inauguration, where she performed "This Land Is Your Land" and "America the Beautiful." However, Lopez kept her solo pictures and videos from the event.

Aside from deleting all of Rodriguez's pictures from her account, Lopez also unfollowed her ex on the photo-sharing platform.

A number of fans commented on Lopez's move, with one person tweeting that it "had to be done."

"That's how you do it. Shouldn't have treated her like seconds. She's the [G.O.A.T.]," another commented. "JLo wins again!" a third Twitter user said.

Lopez wiped her ex from her account less than a month after she made her relationship with Ben Affleck Instagram official on her 52nd birthday by sharing a photo of them kissing.

The rest of the slideshow she posted to mark the occasion showed Lopez celebrating her birthday on what looks like a luxury yacht. The "Shotgun Wedding" star wore a red string bikini with an orange triangle pattern, pairing with a flowing floral cover-up, layered gold necklaces and an olive wide-brim fedora. Affleck, meanwhile, sported a navy button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

Lopez celebrated her birthday with Affleck at a party at celebrity hotspot L'Opera in Saint-Tropez, France, on July 24, E! News reported. During the bash, the couple was spotted kissing and filming on their phones as the crowd cheered.

Rodriguez, who turned 46 just days after Lopez celebrated her own birthday, was also in Saint-Tropez during the same weekend.

An unnamed source told Us Weekly at the time that the exes had planned to celebrate her birthday there when they were still together and didn't know that the other would still push through with the trip. Lopez arrived with Affleck, while Rodriguez was with his friends and was spotted with Melanie Collins.

"Jen and Alex had planned to go to the French Riviera for J. Lo’s birthday this year and neither of them changed their plans," the insider said. "Alex didn’t know Jen would still be going, but he wasn’t phased when he found out her boat was nearby. He was distracted with his own guests."
