Jessa Seewald Could Very Well Be Having Twins, Husband Ben Shares On Duggar After Show

The Seewalds revealed they were “doubling” their love on the last “Counting On” but they might be adding more than one new addition to their family.

A sneak peek of Tuesday’s Season 2 after show for the TLC series shows Jessa and Ben Seewald explaining their baby No. 2 pregnancy announcement. Jessa said their announcement picture, which had the couple and their 11-month-old son Spurgeon posing by a sign that said “Doubling the love,” confused some into thinking they may be expecting multiples.

“People have asked me that. They’re like, ‘You’re having twins!’ and I’m like, ‘That’s not what it means,’” Jessa said after her brother-in-law, Derick Dillard, yelled out “Twins!” on set.

“Although, it could be twins,” her husband Ben interjected. Jessa added that it might be, commenting she hasn’t had an ultrasound yet to make it official. “We never know,” Ben shared.

Elsewhere in the sneak peek, Jessa revealed she was 17.5 weeks along and “feeling great.” Unlike her first pregnancy with Spurgeon, Jessa said her second one was flying by.

“I think with the first pregnancy it seemed a lot longer because every week we were counting down the weeks, the months, until baby would be here,” she said. “This time around, we’re chasing little Spurgeon so I think the weeks are going by a lot faster. I can’t believe we’re almost to the halfway mark already.”

According to the Duggar Family Blog, Jessa, who announced her pregnancy in August, is now 25 weeks along. She and Ben are due to welcome their new addition (or should we say additions?) in February 2017.

The rest of the “Counting On” after show, airing Tuesday at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC, will show Jill and Derick Dillard talking about their safety in Central America, Ben discussing his possible career in rap music and Jessa talking about whether or not they have put their adoption plans on the back burner. The after show will also see the introduction of a “special guest,” which by the looks of Jinger Duggar’s reaction in the promo, is likely her fiancé, Jeremy Vuolo.
