‘Jill And Jessa: Counting On’ Sneak-Peek Video Teases Spurgeon’s Big Trip To Central America

Little Spurgeon is going on his first trip — and it’s a big one! According to a sneak-peek video for the upcoming installment of TLC’s “Jill & Jessa: Counting On,” Jessa and Ben Seewald will be taking their son to Central America to meet his Aunt Jill, Uncle Derick and cousin Israel for the very first time.

And mama and papa Seewald are making sure their sweet, little newborn has everything he could possibly need for his epic adventure … including lots of SPF!

“We’re having to take some special precautions having to take Spurgeon down to Central America,” Ben said in the trailer for the upcoming episode, titled “Family Reunion.” “We gotta think about sunscreen, bug spray… Those are probably the two main things but we just want to make sure we take good care of him.”

Jessa added that the first-time-parents need to bring “lots of baby wipes” and diapers with them considering convenient stores are scarce where her sister is currently doing missionary work.

“We are going to be in a more rural part of Central America and so were trying to think ahead and take all the items we might need because we can’t just run to the grocery store very easily,” Jessa explained before her husband chimed in that sometimes their son can easily go through three to four diapers, which is why they’re packing in bulk. But Jessa blew his mind when she corrected his statement, insisting that tiny Spurgeon can actually use double that amount of nappies.

“Seven? In one day?” he says in disbelief. “Guess those were the days I was at work. Wow.”

The Seewald trio won’t be the only travelers booking tickets to Central America. According to the synopsis for “Family Reunion,” several other Duggar siblings will pay the Dillard brood a visit during the forthcoming installment.
