John Cena Excited To Plan Wedding With Nikki Bella, Teases ‘DWTS’ Reunion

John Cena and Nikki Bella first got engaged in April 2017 during WrestleMania 33. Since then, the WWE couple has been dragging their feet when it comes to planning their wedding day, but it looks like the two have finally decided to step up to the plate and thoroughly organize the special ceremony.

After announcing that he will be returning as the host for the 2018 Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, Cena revealed that he is preparing to “gear up in the next few weeks” so he can properly plan his wedding with his fiancée.

While promoting his upcoming hosting job, Cena stated that he was excited he will finally have time to plan his wedding.

“It’s kind of a special time where there is a little bit of lull and I’m really looking forward to spending some time with Nicole and work on that. Hopefully, in the next few weeks the wedding planning is really going to amp up,” he told E! News.

Cena confessed that wedding planning also required him to seek out a dance teacher.

While it may not be with Bella’s “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Artem Chigvintsev, he has high hopes that the dance pro will find time in his busy schedule to help him learn some structured dances for the wedding.

“I’m not sure if it will be with Artem, he’s a professional and I would love for it to be with Artem but he’s on tour right now. He’s fantastic though so we will see basically if he’s around. It depends on him,” the star revealed.

Although there is a chance Cena and Bella may not be able to reunite with Chigvintsev to learn their wedding dances, the “Bumblebee” star is happy he has taken the first steps to set up his lessons even though he has yet to attend them.

“I have not but they’ve been scheduled so they will not go without being done. Step one is putting it down on paper so that you’re committed and they have been scheduled,” he said.

Cena and Bella have yet to announce a wedding date for their upcoming nuptials.
