Nikki Bella Gushes Over John Cena After Fiancé Gets Emotional Over Engagement

Even when they are apart, John Cena and Nikki Bella seem to always think of one another. On Monday, the “Total Divas” star showed her husband-to-be some love by sharing a photo of the “Ferdinand” star and Selena Gomez on her Instagram account.

“My 2 favs,” she captioned the picture along with the heart eyes emoji.

Bella’s display of affection for her fiancé comes on the heels of Cena’s interview on “Good Morning Britain” with Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid where he got teary-eyed while reflecting on his engagement with the “Total Bellas” star.

Cena, who proposed to Bella in April during Wrestlemania 33, admitted that he was an emotional wreck during the highly anticipated moment, because he kept thinking about what could go wrong.

“I was trying to put her in an environment where she wouldn’t say no, with millions round the world watching - and it all worked out,” he told the hosts.

Cena revealed he was worried that the 75,000 people in the audience would try to persuade Bella to reject his proposal. “You get to the point where you think it is a great idea - but what if they start chanting ‘no, no, no?’”

However, the audience surprised Cena by allowing him to go through with his engagement without ruining the moment.

“The crazy thing about that moment is I was in a match before that. And if you watch the match back, the audience hate me. But it is such a show of respect that once the performance was over, and they realize this is a moment we are going to remember for the rest of our lives,” he said.

Despite his fears about proposing in front of a live audience, Cena admitted that he was happy with his choice to share “the best moment of his life” with the wrestling world. “I couldn’t think of a better place to do it. The WWE has been my family for the past 15 years.”

Although Bella and Cena have yet to announce a wedding date, the two are expected to get married sometime next year.
