Nikki Bella Credits Therapy For Calming Baby Fever With John Cena

Although Nikki Bella has remained adamant that she and John Cena will not have children, the “Total Divas” star admitted that she has been having baby fever following the birth of her niece Birdie Danielson.

During an interview with Us Weekly, the WWE star explained how being around her twin sister Brie Bella’s daughter has given her a desire to have children, but she did insist that a baby bump was not in her future.

“I will admit [that] Birdie, she’s just so amazingly cute [and] she does give me baby fever, but like shoot, I’ve already done so much therapy to not want a kid … but I mean, she gives me baby fever, but that’s not in the cards for me,” she said.

In August, Bella told E! News that she finally understood why Cena didn’t want to have kids. “I used to not understand. You used to see this on ‘Total Divas’ and ‘Total Bellas,’ I didn’t understand where John was coming from when he would say he wouldn’t want to be a father,” she explained.

Bella, who initially wanted kids, admitted that after a reevaluation, she really couldn’t see herself as being a mother. “I like being spontaneous and I love my career and I like working on a lot of businesses and I couldn’t imagine giving all that up to be at home with a child,” she said.

Despite the couple’s decision to not have children, Bella’s sister, Brie, believes that there is still a chance her twin and Cena could have a baby. “We never know. We all heard John say how many times he was not going to marry you,” Brie teased, referring to the couple’s engagement and upcoming nuptials.

Nikki Bella revealed that she has been hard at working planning her wedding and has actually done a lot when it comes to making her dream day a reality, even though the couple has been taking their time to make each detail perfect. “It’s going. It’s going slowly,” she told Us Weekly.

“I feel like this week we did a lot. We tried to lock down a location and plan that type of stuff, so I feel like it’s gonna be here before you know it,” Bella added.

Although Bella and Cena have yet to announce a wedding date, it seems like the couple already has a solid plan of what they want their future to look like.
