John Cena Gushes Over Love For Nikki Bella, Teases Holiday Plans

In the world of wrestling, John Cena is known for his tough guy exterior. However, the WWE star recently admitted that he actually has a soft side, and it’s all because of Nikki Bella.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor admitted that his current emotional state has had a major effect on who he is. “I’m in love,” he gushed.

“You know, if you’ve ever been in love, you know what it’s about. I’m in love,” he added.

Although Cena has been busy promoting his new movies, like “Daddy’s Home 2” and “Ferdinand,” the wrestler revealed that when he’s not portraying different characters, he enjoys being himself, which is a bit of romantic.

Cena explained that he appreciates the platform he is given when he appears on reality shows because it allows him to show off his other side. “The ability on shows like ‘Total Bellas’ [is] to be able to show kind of who I am as a human being,” he said.

Despite what people may think, Cena revealed he has been happy with sharing his softer side with the world. “And certainly the public relationship I have with Nicole showing a little bit of, like, the fact that I do enjoy a romantic time with my wife to be. I think it sends the message that it’s OK to be yourself,” said.

Cena revealed that planning holiday festivities is a part of who he is and the“Bumblebee” star had no problem teasing his Thanksgiving plans, which will consist of he and Bella inviting their loved ones over to their home. Cena explained that on top of being the apple of his eye, the “Total Bellas” star is also amazing at entertaining guests.

“Nicole’s a great cook, but she's also a great host, and she’s also really good at, like, ‘Will I have time to cook and not take away from the hosting duties?’” he said.

“And she defers to host. So, a lot of times she’ll leave -- she’ll do three or four dishes but won’t concentrate on, like, the two-day dish which takes forever. Because, she’ll put all the effort into hosting and ... she makes me look like a great host because usually we host together,” he added.

Even though it looks like Bella has a busy Thanksgiving ahead of her, with Cena's help, she’ll surely find the time to plan out both the perfect holiday and an extraordinary wedding.
