John Cena Gushes Over Nikki Bella On ‘Today’ Show, Teases Wedding Plans

John Cena and Nikki Bella have never been shy about how much they love each other and during an appearance on the “Today” show, the couple of five years made no exception about showcasing their love for one another.

The couple, along with Brie Bella and Bryan Danielson, appeared on the daytime show, where Cena shared some details about their upcoming wedding and gushed over his wife-to-be. When asked if the special day would appear on camera, Cena admitted he was unsure.

“I have no say about that,” he said.

The WWE star told the anchors that although he knew the question was wedding related, he had to take a moment to talk about everything that Nikki and Brie Bella have managed to do throughout their career. “The reason why the audiences have flocked to the E! Network is because these women are so open and so honest with their lives and that encompasses everything. They run hard. They are just as good as anyone,” he said.

Cena went on to talk about the famous twins’ accomplishments and how they manage to keep their family on their list of priorities. “They have an apparel line, they have a wine coming out, they’re filming this show, they’re filming another show, a successful YouTube Channel. They are as entrepreneur as you can get but they still have so much time and they make time for family,” he said as his hand was placed on the“Total Divas” star’s leg.

After the exchange of heartfelt looks at one another, Cena circled back to the wedding question and revealed that whether their ceremony ends up on camera is up to his fiancée, but he hinted that there is a good chance that they will share their big day with the world because the reality show is one of the ways that Bella bonds with her fans.

During an interview with Complex in July, the wrestler revealed that the two are slowly getting into the process of planning their wedding but he doesn't mind the wait. “We are both super, super busy and it just has to be right,” he said.

However, he did admit that he hopes they can get married sooner rather than later. “I really, really want to say I hope it’s gonna be next year sometime, but also I want to do it when it’s right for Nicole and she can get the most out of it as well,” he told the publication.

Although it is unclear if their wedding will appear on their reality series, while on the “Today” show, the group spoke about what fans can expect to see in the upcoming season of the show, which will include Cena’s proposal to Bella--aA time the wrestler reflected on as an “awesome” segment in his life.

Following their appearance on the talk show, Bella liked several tweets from fans who wrote supportive comments about the couple’s romance. “Have you ever seen anyone more in love than @JohnCena and @BellaTwins? Ugh, soooo cute!!!” one fan wrote.

“It so cute that every time they talk about Nikki or mention her @JohnCena blushes. @BellaTwins,” another person tweeted.

Fans will be able to see more special moments from Cena and Bella’s relationship when “Total Bellas” Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m. EDT on E!
