Nikki Bella Gushes Over John Cena Ahead Of 5-Year Anniversary

Nikki Bella and John Cena may have just gotten engaged in April, but the couple will be commemorating another milestone in their relationship this week. The WWE stars, who will be celebrating their five-year anniversary on Wednesday, shared some early gestures of love for one another ahead of the special occasion.

On Tuesday, Bella tweeted out a sweet message for her fiancé, who appeared as a guest on the “Today” show. “Awww Looove!! @JohnCena Happy early anniversary!” she wrote along with several emojis.

Bella’s sweet tweet came after she shared a romantic picture of herself and Cena gazing into each other’s eyes on Instagram. “Every moment with him is the best,” she captioned the photo.

On her Instagram Story, Bella shared a video of herself in bed watching Cena during his appearance on the daytime show. Although she didn’t share what he said, the “Total Divas” star revealed that Cena made a special comment that meant something to her.

“Awww my baby just gave me a shout out on the ‘Today’ show. Our anniversary is tomorrow so he just gave me a cute shout out. Look how handsome he looks, turn it on now!” Bella said in the video which featured the hashtag “#5yearsstrong.”

Bella wasn’t the only one being sentimental about the couple’s relationship. Before heading to the show, Cena shared some kind words about his future wife. “Almost time for @TODAYshow and also SO inspired by my lady @BellaTwins and her sis as they showcase @birdiebee in NYC! #MondayMotivaton,” he tweeted Monday.

The star has previously expressed just how proud he is of Bella and her career and how he doesn’t want to rush the wedding process because of their career obligations. During an interview with Complex magazine, Cena revealed that he wants Bella to be able to enjoy herself while planning the couple’s special day.

“We are both super, super busy and it just has to be right. I really, really want to say I hope it’s gonna be next year sometime, but also I want to do it when it’s right for Nicole and she can get the most out of it as well,” he explained.

In July, the “Total Bellas” star announced that she and Cena have set a wedding date, and she has already picked out her dress for the special occasion.

The couple seems to be in a much happier place than they were at the end of last month. At the time, Bella revealed that she and Cena were sad because they had not seen each other in almost a month due to their hectic schedules.

In a YouTube video, Bella explained that the time apart made her realize that Cena was her soulmate. “That’s when you know you’ve found your soulmate, the one, when you just truly can’t live without them,” she said.

Now that the two have reunited and are on the heels of celebrating five years together, Bella and Cena seem stronger than ever.
