John Cena Surprises Nikki Bella With Proposal At WrestleMania

John Cena and Nikki Bella are getting married soon! The professional wrestler, rapper, actor and TV host has finally popped the big question to his longtime partner.

In a video clip shared by WWE on Twitter, Cena, 39, got down on one knee to propose to Bella, 33, in front of thousands of fans at WrestleMania. He asked her to marry him after the duo defeated their epic foes, The Miz and Maryse, in the mixed tag team match during WrestleMania 33.

“I have been waiting so long to ask you this. Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?” the “Marine” star asked his girlfriend after dropping to one knee and showing her the ring he prepared. Following his proposal, Bella was speechless for a few moments before she nodded and kissed Cena in lieu of a verbal response to his question.

According to Daily Mail, prior to popping the question, Cena recalled a conversation they had a year ago when Bella was about to undergo neck surgery. “This is what you wanted over a year ago,” Cena shared. “You broke your neck and did everything you could to come back because you wanted a WrestleMania moment. I'm so very proud of you.”

Cena went on to recall a moment when Bella was loopy following the procedure, and he could ask her any question. He remembered asking her if she knows that he will marry her one day. Bella answered affirmatively, so Cena asked her to say yes one more time.

Cena and Bella started dating in 2012. At the time, he was vocal about not wanting to get married and have kids. In the buildup to their WrestleMania match, Maryse ridiculed Bella over the fact that Cena had not yet proposed and claimed that she was jealous of her ring, Fox Sports reported.
