Johnny Depp's Daughter Lily-Rose Celebrates 'Sour Sixteenth' Birthday
Johnny Depp’s daughter, Lily-Rose, celebrated her 16th birthday with a week of festivities capped by a family gathering Wednesday. The teen posted several photos from her special weeklong birthday celebration, which included a costume party with her girlfriends and a family get-together at Ago restaurant in Los Angeles on her actual birthday, E! News reported.
The teen dubbed her big day as "sour sixteenth," sharing a few shots of the party’s flower themed decoration and ending with a picture of her petal-filled bed. The reason behind the "sour" description was unclear.
Both Johnny Depp and her mother Vanessa Paradis attended Lily Rose’s birthday party. Depp was joined by wife Amber Heard and Vanessa’s partner Benjamin Biolay also was reportedly invited, states Hello Magazine.
Lily-Rose has a lot to celebrate this year. She made her modeling debut with Australian-based magazine Oyster last month, looking as gorgeous and stunning as her mother as she posed in various shots and outfits. “The daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, Lily-Rose Depp, has the face of an angel and a magnetic presence beyond her young years,” Oyster wrote.
Lily-Rose also will be acting opposite Natalie Portman in "Planetarium," Variety reported. They will play spiritualist sisters in a 1930s-era drama directed by French helmer Rebecca Zlotowski. The plot details are under wraps but Zlotowski told Variety that the film follows the journey of sisters who are believed to possess the supernatural ability to connect with ghosts. This film would mark Lily-Rose’s second foray into acting, having starred in "Yoga Hosers" in 2014, alongside her father.
Meanwhile, Johnny Depp has been having a difficult time lately and could face prison or fines if he is found guilty of illegally smuggling pet terriers Pistol and Boo into Australia, where filming is underway on the latest installment of "Pirates of the Caribbean."
