JoJo Siwa Wears ‘Best Gay Cousin Ever’ Shirt And Clarifies Speculation

Entertainer JoJo Siwa has officially come out as gay after posting a photo wearing a shirt that says, “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever” that she received as a gift.

The 17-year-old posted a TikTok video earlier this week lipsyncing to Lady Gaga’s hit “Born This Way,” which caused some speculation about her sexuality.

“No matter gay, straight or bi / Lesbian, transgender life / I’m on the right track, baby / I was born to survive,” she sang on the video.

She followed up the video with the photo of her wearing the shirt on Twitter Friday night, seemingly clearing up all the speculation-- and it’s received over one million favorites already.

Many of her celebrity friends have commented on the news and couldn’t’ be happier for the YouTube sensation. She’s even been sharing some of the messages she’s received over Instagram DM on her stories.

“Love you itsjojosiwa. I'm so proud of you sis!” Paris Hilton said.

Rapper, Lil Nas X, who came out as gay in 2019, also replied to her tweet.

She dated Mark Bontempo in August 2020, but they quickly broke up by November of the same year.

When Siwa, who is best known for her popular YouTube Channel, sparkles, big bows and stint on the hit show “Dance Moms,” discovered her sexuality, remains unknown.
