John Ramsey, the father of slain Colorado child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey, has remarried, five years after the death of his wife, Patsy, from ovarian cancer.

Ramsey, 67, married Jan Rousseauz, 53, a twice-divorced Las Vegas fashion designer on July 21 in Charlevoix, Mich, People.com reported.

"I have no doubt she will be smiling," Ramsey said of JonBenet, who would have turned 21 on Aug. 6

Ramsey reportedly met Rousseaux at a mutual friend's wedding in Denver two years ago, though only becoming romantic recently.

Six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey was murdered on Christmas night 1996 in the family's Boulder, Colo., home. The case has never been solved.
