Joy Duggar’s Wedding And 6 Other Things We’ll See On ‘Counting On’ This Season

It’s time for the Duggars to return to TV. On Monday, TLC will air new episodes of “Counting On” as part of Season 2C. As usual, the program will be filled with weddings, courtships, engagements, babies and more big surprises. Below are seven things viewers can expect to see this season from the Duggar family.

Joy Duggar’s Wedding

Joy’s wedding to Austin Forsyth will be the big moment of the Season 2C premiere. Viewers get to watch as Joy and her longtime friend turned husband say their vows to one another in front of a large crowd of family and friends at Cross Church in Arkansas in the two-hour installment. TLC has already released photos form their big day ahead of the episode.

Another Engagement!

Joy and Austin’s wedding ended with another big Duggar moment. With the bride’s approval, Joseph Duggar asked for his girlfriend Kendra Caldwell’s hand in marriage during the reception. Kendra, who began courting Joseph in March, said yes. The couple is now planning on a fall wedding.

“We are super excited. It’s great to not be courting anymore, now we’re engaged!” the couple told People Magazine.

“I’m so happy and so shocked. There’s so many words I want to say, but just shocked,” Kendra added.

Joy and Austin’s Honeymoon

It’s not uncommon for TLC’s cameras to follow a newlywed Duggar couple on their honeymoon and based on videos from Joy and Austin’s post-nuptials getaway, TLC is likely filming their vacation. Fresh off their wedding, Joy and Austin posted a video thanking fans for their support of their marriage. On Friday, the couple revealed they were vacationing in Switzerland (they had previously kept the locale a secret, even from family) and revealed they were thoroughly enjoying the activities the Central European country had to offer.

Jinger Duggar’s New Life

Jinger Vuolo married Jeremy Vuolo last season on “Counting On” and now viewers will get to watch her settle into her new life with her pastor husband in Laredo, Texas.

Jessa Seewald Welcomes Baby Boy

Jessa and Ben Seewald will become proud parents to a new baby boy this season. The duo welcomed son Henry Wilberforce on Feb. 6 and based on the trailer, his arrival will be the focus of their storyline.

Jinger Duggar Pregnant?

A scene from the new “Counting On” episodes shows Jinger having a Skype session with her sisters and them asking her if she’s expecting a baby yet. Jinger and Jeremy have been married for six months, so a pregnancy announcement is not completely out of the question for a “Counting On” storyline. Of course, there’s also been tons of speculation Jinger his pregnant based on recent footage.

Jill Dillard Gives Birth

It’s unclear how long TLC’s cameras will film the Duggar brood as part of the upcoming season, but fans might be lucky enough to see the arrival of Jill and Derick Dillard’s new addition. The couple will welcome their second baby, a boy named Samuel Scott, in July. Leading up to the delivery, the pair has returned from their extended mission trip in Central America and celebrated the child’s upcoming debut with family and friends at a baby shower.
