Justin Bieber’s cryptic message with a solo picture of himself at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills may have been aimed at his former girlfriend Selena Gomez, Hollywood Life reported. The hotel is reportedly the same where the two former lovers were spotted getting cozy over the weekend.

Bieber shared the photo on Instagram, captioning it, “Where r ü now that i need ü,” giving rise to speculation that he may have been missing Gomez. The picture was posted on Tuesday along with another photo of the 21-year-old singer sitting alone by the pool side.

After Bieber and Gomez were seen hanging out at the hotel over the weekend, reports surfaced that the two may be renewing their relationship.

“They are both super busy, but they try and see each other as often as they can,” a source told Hollywood Life. Another source told the publication that Gomez now has the “upper hand” in their revived relationship.

“This time around, Selena calls the shots in her relationship with Justin,” the source reportedly said. She is “at a different place in her life now. She’s more confident, more empowered, and doesn’t make herself available at Justin’s beck and call. She definitely has the upper hand.”

Rumors of reconciliation between the two have surfaced in the last few months and, in May, a report claimed that Bieber had been seeing Gomez since his twenty-first birthday in March, just after she split with Russian-German musician Zedd.

“Justin had secretly been hooking up with Selena since his birthday. They wanted to see if they could get back to a good place,” In Touch Weekly had reported, citing sources.
