Is Justin Bieber the new king of pop?
The 17-year-old's documentary Never Say Never has officially beaten Michael Jackson's This is It at the domestic box office.
The Canadian's documentary is now the most successful concert-themed documentary, reports OK! Magazine. The movie earned $72.2 million at the domestic box office.
Jackson's This is It earned $72.1 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
As of now, Bieber has earned $10.8 million in the international box office. Never Say Never is expected to earn approximately $20 million in total in the international box office.
Bieber, who is a Twitter enthusiast, used the social media site to celebrate the good news.
