Kailyn Lowry Finally Talks Baby Name For Chris Lopez’s Child

“Teen Mom 2” star Kailyn Lowry was stumped when it came to naming her third child. The pregnancy has been different from her previous two, considering she didn’t immediately reveal who the father of the child was until weeks later. To pick a moniker, she sought the help of her fans and sons. Even after the baby was born Saturday, she still didn’t have a name, but she talked about the process during an exclusive interview with Radar Online Thursday.

“We don’t have a name at all and we don’t have any ideas either,” she said. “I feel like everything we thought we liked doesn’t fit him.”

Baby No. 3 is her third boy, but she doesn’t mind being a mother of sons.

“No, I wasn’t disappointed at all,” she said about not having a girl. “Boys are all I know so I think it worked out for the better. I always said I couldn’t picture myself with anything other than boys so I think it worked out.”

Lowry, 25, has 30 days to choose a name for her son. When she asked 7-year-old Isaac and 3-year-old Lincoln if they had any ideas, they came up with some interesting suggestions. Isaac is her son with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and Lincoln is her son with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.

The MTV reality star took to Twitter Wednesday to reveal what her older sons thought about their new brother’s moniker. “Isaac said the name Murphy was ‘eh, ok… for a dog,’ and also suggested Francis,” she tweeted. “Linc is still adamant about naming Baby Lo ‘climber.'”

Since she announced her pregnancy, Lowry referred to baby No. 3 as “Baby Lo,” which is apparently a riff on Chris Lopez, the father’s name.

At the time Lowry had the interview with Radar Online, her sons had not met the baby. “Lincoln and Isaac haven’t met him yet,” she said. “But now that we’re home and adjusted I think they’ll come meet him shortly. They’re super excited. Javi keeps texting that Lincoln is excited so I’m excited for them to meet him.”

Radar Online was a little late with their story, because Lowry posted a photo of all her sons together Wednesday. Baby Lo was being held by Isaac, who had a big smile on his face, and Lincoln leaned in with a thumbs up. “Nothing compares,” she captioned the photo.

In a second picture, Isaac kissed the baby on the head and Lincoln held his hand, still smiling.

Lowry shocked fans when she announced her pregnancy in February. Her divorce from Marroquin had just been finalized in December.

“I’m sad that I should have known that people in my life would sell me out before I was ready. Like any normal person, I want it to be a happy time,” she wrote at the time. “I wanted this to be a private time so I could be excited while not getting chased by paparazzi and bothered with crazy headlines.”
