Kailyn Lowry-Javi Marroquin Divorce Update: ‘Teen Mom 2’ Stars Decide Lincoln’s Custody Agreement
Unlike other “Teen Mom 2” stars, Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin won’t be going to court of their child. The former couple agreed on custody of their son, Lincoln. The 2-year-old will spend half of his time with his mother and the other half with his father, Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Tuesday.
“Me and Kail agreed to 50/50 with Lincoln,” Javi, 23, told Radar Online. “So every other week I get him.”
The agreement might come as a surprise to some since Marroquin just got back from a deployment overseas. The reality star is also an active member of the Air Force and spends months away from home when he is working.
There is no official word on what’s going to happen with the relationship he has with Isaac, the 6-year-old son Kailyn had with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera. “Seeing the boys was great,” Javi said about returning to Delaware. “They are the reason why I do what I do so I’ve been spending any free time with them.”
It will reportedly be complicated for Javi to see Isaac since he has to also split time with Jo and Kailyn.
Aside from seeing Isaac and Lincoln when he returned home, Javi moved out of the house he shared with Kailyn. He said it was “stressful” to move and he’s exhausted since returning home. “From the move and adjusting back to the real world, I’m tired,” he said.
After months of rumors, the couple confirmed their split in May.
Even though it seemed like she was happy about the breakup, Kailyn posted cryptic messages following Javi’s move. “I think I'm meant to be alone,” she wrote to her 1.16 million Twitter followers Thursday. “If I don't push someone away, they leave on their own.” Kailyn insisted she was fine with the change, writing: “Completely fine and I accept it 100-percent.”
