Kate Beckinsale’s Stalker With ‘History Of Following And Harassing’ Her Arrested

Kate Beckinsale’s stalker was arrested just hours before she made an appearance at the Tampa Bay Comic-Con.

On Saturday, a man named Terry Lee Repp, 45, was apprehended by police and put in jail with a $500 bond for stalking Beckinsale. According to the police report (via E! News), Repp was arrested at the Tampa Bay Comic-Con just hours before the “Love and Friendship” star arrived to join the Q&A session. Beckinsale filed a police report against her stalker. Repp was charged with stalking and was booked into Orient Road Jail.

On Thursday, Repp was spotted inside the Tampa Convention Center, which disturbed Beckinsale because he “has a history of following and harassing [Beckinsale] and came to Tampa in an effort to continue the harassing behavior.”

“Repp made physical contact with the victim during an event in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2016. During this encounter, Repp touched the victim’s back and made a statement to the victim in reference to stabbing her,” read the statement released following Repp’s arrest.

In addition, Repp followed Beckinsale when she attended an event in Houston, Texas, last year to continue the harassment. He was detained by the Houston Police Department for trespassing.

The statement added that Repp has an “irrational obsession” with Beckinsale and travels around the world to follow her only to harass the actress. His troubling behavior against the “Pearl Harbor” star has caused her emotional distress and fear for her safety.

When Beckinsale learned that Repp attended the Comic-Con where she was scheduled to show up, she postponed her appearance. The “Van Helsing” actress only came to the event after Repp’s arrest and did not mention him when she was on stage. She was guarded by security the whole time.

In other news, Beckinsale is dating Matt Rife, 21. The couple was spotted kissing on camera in June. Since their relationship was confirmed, the couple has only gotten closer and become more smitten with each other.

“Kate was really happy. She looked completely smitten with Matt,” a source told Entertainment Tonight last month. “Kate was always touching him the entire time they were waiting for the car at the valet. They were also holding each other as they rode on the escalator. Kate was kissing him. They were super affectionate.”
