Kate Middleton made a deliberate choice of honoring Princess Diana since she joined the royal family.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been praised for her fashion sense. According to royal commentator Michelle Tauber, Middleton is using this to deliberately honor her late mother-in-law Princess Diana.

The expert pointed out how Middleton dressed like Princess Diana following her delivery of Prince George and Prince Louis. After Prince George’s birth, the duchess left the hospital in a Jenny Packham dress with white polka dots which was reminiscent of Princess Diana’s maternity dress when she left the hospital with Prince William.

In 2018, when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their youngest son Prince Louis, the duchess left the hospital in another familiar look. She wore a red dress with a Peter Pan collar similar to Princess Diana’s when the latter gave birth to Prince Harry.

“It seems to be a very deliberate choice by Kate to honour Diana in these subtle yet striking nods to her own fashion,” Tauber said.

According to another expert Erin Hill, Middleton started paying tribute to Princess Diana shortly after her engagement to Prince William was announced.

“One of the special things that Kate has always done is make sure she includes these nods to Princess Diana’s memorable fashion moments,” Hill said.

“From her blue engagement dress, to every time she stepped out after giving birth.”

In related news, Prince William and Middleton shockingly splurged $1.27 million public money on Kensington Palace’s driveway. Royal correspondent Camilla Tominey was surprised about the huge amount spent on the driveway and questioned if it was paved with Swarovski diamonds or other crown jewels.

Just like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are facing intense backlash due to the $3.05 million they spent for the renovation of their new home Frogmore Cottage. A number deemed the amount to be too huge for the couple’s home.

It was also revealed that Queen Elizabeth and Markle’s first solo engagement was very costly. The monarch paid for $37,875.84 for a one-way train to Cheshire. Her Majesty also paid for Markle’s private charter jet to fly there.
