Kate Middleton was worried about Princess Charlotte during her photocall.

On Wednesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex introduced their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world. Four years ago, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did the same when they welcomed their only daughter, Princess Charlotte, at the Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital on the same day she was born.

According to a 2015 Daily Telegraph report, Middleton was worried about her newborn when they made her public debut. The now mom of three feared that she might be “cold.”

Prince William reportedly reassured his wife by saying “No, she’s fine, she’s good.” However, the doting mother replied, “Let’s take her inside.”

The crowd only saw Prince William, Middleton and Princess Charlotte during the photocall as the duke took Prince George to the hospital earlier to meet his little sister. The couple didn’t do any interview following Princess Charlotte’s birth.

However, in 2013, Prince William shared how he really felt when he and Middleton made Prince George’s public debut. It was the couple’s first baby photocall and the second-in-line to the throne confessed that he was more “shocked” and “high.”

“I think more shock was the feeling I felt, but I was on such a high anyway, and so was Catherine, about George that really we were happy to show him off to whoever wanted to see him,” Prince William said.

“As any new parent knows, you're only too happy to show off your new child and, you know, proclaim that he is the best looking or the best everything.”

In related news, Prince William and Middleton’s youngest son Prince Louis was reportedly snubbed by the Brits over Prince Harry and Markle’s newborn son Archie. The official viewing figures of BBC and Sky News channels significantly increased during Archie’s photocall.

BBC News Channel had 26 percent uplift in views. Meanwhile, Sky News received a boost of about 24 percent. These figures are significantly higher compared to those during Prince Louis’ debut on April 23, 2018.

At the time, Prince William and Middleton have not seen Archie yet. There are rumors that the couple snubbed the newborn, but for sure they are meeting Prince Harry and Markle’s baby soon as the couple already said that they are excited to meet the latest addition to the royal family.
