Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s lives were recently compared on the Duchess of Cambridge’s 37th birthday.

Middleton studied at St. Andrew’s University, where she also met Prince William. After graduating from college, Middleton only worked part-time. She was hired by Jigsaw, a fashion chain, and was assigned to the kids’ department. But as a member of the royal family, Middleton now gets a portion of the money that Queen Elizabeth II receives from taxpayers.

Markle, on the other hand, studied in the United States. After her graduation, Markle tried her luck in the showbiz industry. She landed a slew of minor roles on television and in film and finally made it big after she was cast in “Suits” as Rachel Zane.

Other than her job as an actress, Markle also ran a successful lifestyle blog, and she also worked with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women as an advocate.

Middleton and Markle both dated a few men before they ended up with their respective husbands. While studying at Marlborough College, Middleton dated Willem Marx. One of Marx’s friends told The Telegraph that Marx was Middleton’s first love.

Following her brief split from Prince William, Middleton was linked to Henry Ropner. She also dated Rupert Finch, a solicitor from London.

Markle was previously married to Trevor Engelson before she met Prince Harry. However, the Duchess of Sussex’s just lasted for two years. Following her divorce, Markle was linked to other men before she was introduced to Prince Harry.

Middleton is now a mom of three with the arrival of Prince George in 2013, Princess Charlotte in 2015, and Prince Louis in 2018. There are rumors suggesting that the Duchess of Cambridge is planning on having a fourth child with Prince William this year.

Markle, on the other hand, is pregnant with her first child. She is expected to give birth in the Spring. There are some rumors claiming that Markle will give birth to a baby girl because Prince Harry has expressed his desire to have a girl during one of his royal engagements.
