Kate Middleton reportedly wanted a fourth baby and the idea received mixed reactions from the netizens.

The public has been waiting for another baby announcement from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they were expecting. In May, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn, Archie. Several sources claimed that Middleton was feeling broody and a fourth baby might be on the way.

According to Chadielle Fayad of New Idea, Middleton’s “pregnancy buzz excites Britain.” However, not everyone feels the same.

Months ago, when it was reported that Middleton wanted another baby after Prince Louis, many online users aired their opposition. For them, Prince William and Middleton should not add more to their brood.

“Irresponsible, its time to stop breeding love and start contributing,” one netizen wrote.

“They should be setting an example and having fewer children ffs !!!” a different user commented.

“Time to get off her back and do some actual proper work! I thought they were concerned about overpopulation of the world?” another online user opined.

Meanwhile, a different netizen believed that Middleton wanted to have more kids to “make sure Harry is as far away from the throne as possible.” Every time the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomes a new baby, Prince Harry is pushed further down the line of succession.

In related news, Prince Harry recently said that he only wants two kids “maximum” with Markle. According to the Duke of Sussex, he was concerned of climate change. Having fewer kids would be more friendly to the environment.

However, not everyone was convinced that he wanted fewer children due to the environment. According to Emily O’Keefe when asked if “climate change is really on people’s minds when they are deciding how many kids to have,” the answer is “no.”

“Well some people don’t have a choice on how many kids they have and I’m sure that is not on their mind,” O’Keefe said.

“Meghan Markle is 37 and we know women’s fertility really goes down after the age of 35. So he could only say that they are having two kids because that might be the reality for them.”
