Kate Middleton, Prince Harry’s Most Animated Photo Resurfaces; Meghan Markle Destroyed Friendship?

Kate Middleton and Prince Harry’s most animated photo has resurfaced on social media.

Prince Harry and Middleton were very close before he dated and married Meghan Markle. In fact, the Duke of Sussex was like a third wheel to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The three royals were always together in most royal engagements, prompting royal fans to call them “the royal trio.”

According to some sources, Prince Harry considered Middleton the sister he never had. An adorable photo of them laughing together was shared on Instagram.

In the snap, both Prince Harry and Middleton are closing their eyes with their mouths wide open. The snap could be their most animated photo together. However, fans haven’t seen them like this way again after Markle joined the royal family.

“Before the arrival of Meghan. They were very nice their friendship [sic]. He has made a strong change after his marriage...” one royal fan wrote.

“Before the monster arrival this people look happy,” another follower commented.

“MM messed everything [up],” a different user wrote with a sad emoji.

Another netizen said that in the photo, Prince Harry was “actually happy and himself.” Meanwhile, others believed that Markle was jealous of Middleton and would not let Prince Harry be close to the Duchess of Cambridge anymore.

Unknown to many, Prince Harry reportedly didn’t like Middleton immediately. The Duke of Sussex didn’t warm up to his sister-in-law instantly unlike Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles because she was the opposite of Prince Harry’s then-girlfriend Chelsy Davy.

However, it’s also possible that he had some reservations because he knew that his relationship with his big brother, Prince William, would change once he marries Middleton. Eventually, Prince Harry and Middleton got close.

According to an insider, Prince Harry doesn’t want to destroy his friendship with Middleton despite his issues with Prince William. The Duke of Sussex was furious when the Duke of Cambridge didn’t support his plans to marry Markle because the latter felt that they didn’t know her that well.

When Prince William was in New Zealand and Markle was on maternity leave, Prince Harry accompanied Middleton at the Anzac Day Service. Prince Harry’s attendance wasn’t expected since he was not scheduled to be there, but he showed up because he believed it was the perfect opportunity for him and Middleton to spend some time together.
