Kate Middleton, Prince William Caught In Divorce Hell; Queen Might Be Dragged
Kate Middleton, Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II might find themselves in a messy situation.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Queen Elizabeth II were photographed with Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum, the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai. They were together at the Royal Ascot last month. New Idea reported that Prince William and Middleton are caught in the royal divorce problem that Sheikh is facing due to their connection to him.
The billionaire racehorse owner is currently at odds with his sixth and youngest wife, Princess Haya, who often attends with him at the horse event but was noticeably missing at the recent horse event.
Last week, news broke that Princess Haya reportedly run away from home and had been plotting to escape for months. She fled to London and is now living in a mansion near the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s home in Kensington Palace with her two children.
Princess Haya reportedly chose to leave after being told that her husband lied to her about imprisoning and torturing his older daughter, Princess Latifa.
Sheikh told her that Princess Latifa was a victim of extortion and had to be rescued. However, she learned that Princess Latifa attempted to escape from her father to live a new life in the U.S. but was caught and is currently being imprisoned.
In a video, the Arab princess talks about being beaten and tortured following her failed attempt to flee.
“There’s no justice here, especially if you’re a female, your life is disposable,” she said.
Princess Haya has arrived in London and is seeking political asylum while asking for a divorce. She is reportedly “afraid of her life” because the then-couple are now embroiled in a custody battle.
Queen Elizabeth II might also be dragged into the bitter divorce because she is reportedly close to the royal couple, Express reported. Both the Queen and Sheikh had horses competing in the Duke of Edinburgh Stakes.
Also, Queen Elizabeth II has close links to the family of Princess Haya, whose father, Anglophile, was a close ally of Britain and a dear friend of the royals. The princess even met the Queen privately for tea at Windsor Castle during the Royal Windsor Horse Show in May.
