Kate Middleton, Prince William ‘Closer Together’ Due To ‘Hectic Schedule’ After Harry, Meghan’s Exit

Kate Middleton and Prince William are close together due to their hectic schedule following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are more visible lately as they take on more royal engagements. On Tuesday, they visited the South of Wales and many noticed that the future king and queen are becoming more tactile.

According to an insider, Prince William and Middleton are closer this time due to their hectic schedule. The pair was forced to take on more jobs after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to quit as senior members of the royal family.

“The Cambridges are busier than ever since Harry and Meghan left the U.K. You’d think their hectic schedule would put strain on the marriage, but it’s actually brought them closer together,” a source told Us Weekly.

“Working as a team and supporting each other is essential at a time like this, and that’s exactly what they’re doing.”

Prince William and Middleton showed a rare display of public affection when they visited Mumbles on the southern coast of Wales. Middleton was photographed placing her hand on her husband’s arm as they smiled at each other. For Insider’s Mikhaila Friel, what the Cambridges did was reminiscent of the Sussexes’ PDA.

“The moment was reminiscent of a similar photo of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their visit to Canada House earlier this year,” Friel wrote.

The members of the royal family are very careful whenever they step out. Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip rarely show PDA and the Duke and Duchess follow their example. However, Prince Harry and Markle have always been very affectionate to each other even when they are attending a public engagement or an official royal duty.

“I've not seen this much affection between two royals in my decades of shooting. They are much more affectionate in public than other royal couples. The Sussexes are often holding hands if cameras are there or not,” royal photographer Tim Rooke said.

In related news, Middleton was reportedly the biggest loser following Prince Harry and Markle’s exit. The duchess is also feeling the pressure. In fact, a source said that she was in panic mode and was having bouts of anxiety.
