Kate Middleton And Prince William Dress In Casuals For Wildlife Safari At Kaziranga National Park
Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoyed a wildlife safari at the Kaziranga National Park on Day 4 of their India and Bhutan visit Tuesday. The royal couple was dressed casually for the hot weather in India.
The Duchess of Cambridge was dressed in a white polka dot shirt paired with brown skinny jeans from Zara for the wildlife safari. The 34-year-old wore a pair of comfortable flat shoes, Bebago boat flats, with her outfit. Her brunette tresses were kept in a side part, twisted from both the sides and fastened together with hairclips.
Kate’s daytime makeup consisted of frosted pink lipstick and smoky eyes. She accessorized with small drop earrings by Kiki McDonough and her engagement ring.
The mother-of-two also carried a baseball cap in her hand with “Kaziranga National Park” written across it. William also carried a similar cap. Both Kate and William were greeted with traditional Assamese gamuchas, or scarves, on their arrival at the national park.
They met conservationists and will visit a center for treatment of captive elephants named after British conservationist Mark Shand. Mark is the late brother of Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
William, 33, was dressed in casual beige shirt, brown chinos and khaki desert shoes. The royal couple sported similar Ray-Ban aviators to protect their eyes from the sun. They enjoyed a campfire along with colorful performance for Bihu festival in the evening by the side of Diphlu River Lodge in the Kaziranga National Park, in Assam.
Kate wore a silk chiffon green patterned Anna Sui dress. The maxi dress featured floral folksy pattern to give a nod to Assam, long sleeves and embroidered trim. The dress is from the label’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection. The Duchess teamed up her evening look in a pair of black wedge espadrilles, while her long locks were left loose over her shoulders.
The couple was particularly impressed by the dancing of a 3-year-old boy and asked to meet him after the performance. “You were very energetic. He knows his dancing very well,” William reportedly said, as they could not stop gushing about the toddler. Meanwhile, Kate also attempted to do the Bihu dance along with local women.
