Kate Middleton and Prince William sparked rumors of marital issues again after these events.

According to The Cut’s Claire Lampen, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge triggered a new round of drama after arriving in separate vehicles at Queen Elizabeth II’s annual Christmas lunch. On Wednesday, they were spotted in different cars for the occasion.

Middleton was with Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte. On the other hand, Prince William chauffeured Prince George.

In addition, when Prince William and Middleton’s special “A Berry Royal Christmas” aired, many noticed how Middleton shrugged Prince William’s hand on her shoulder. Some royal fans know that the scene would be an issue to some.

“Hopefully the media won’t spin this out of nothing but it's clear that Wills moves his hand before Kate makes the movement that coupled with the fact that they both carry on as normal means that this is nothing more than a awkward interaction full stop,” one wrote on Twitter.

For Lampen, there is no reason for the couple to arrive at Buckingham Palace separately except when they are very busy. However, she also acknowledged the fact that their actions might be taken out of context because many love to talk about them. On the other hand, no one discuss the Earl of Snowdon leaving lunch on a bicycle.

Although Middleton and Prince William arrived at the Queen’s lunch on separate vehicles, they left in the same car.
