Kate Middleton and Prince William had a fun Easter celebration with their three kids, who prepared a surprise for Queen Elizabeth II, according to a report.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent Easter weekend together with their kids — Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2. The trio gave their great grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip "personalized Easter eggs which they made and decorated themselves," Us Weekly reported.
The little royals also baked a "delicious chocolate cake covered in mini Cadbury eggs" with their mom's help, the outlet said.
To make the day extra fun for the kids, Prince William and Middleton organized an Easter egg hunt for them.
"They don’t allow George, Charlotte and Louis to have chocolate and sweets every day, so it was a real treat," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte are on holiday from school at the moment, and Middleton "has been busy keeping them entertained," according to the insider.
"They enjoy family bike rides, playing tennis and George and Charlotte are taking horse riding lessons. Charlotte is obsessed with horses, just like her great-grandmother. It’s her favorite activity," the source continued.
Prince Louis reportedly wanted to join his siblings. However, Prince William and Middleton felt that he "is still a little too young," the source said.
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently shared a short clip on Twitter greeting everyone a happy Easter. "Wishing you all a safe and happy Easter," they wrote in the caption.
The tweet received supportive messages from their fans and supporters, who also sent their good wishes to the royal family.
"Happy Easter & to the Queen & the whole family. Keep your chins up. Ur better than the media in the US who will do anything for a $. We support you, we definitely support the Earth Shot project. We have 1 bread bag of garbage a month between 2 people. The rest is compose," one commented.
"Happy Easter to the entire Cambridge family," another added.
"Happy Easter to the Cambridge family, your RHs, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and your three gorgeous children Princes and Princess with love," a third netizen wrote.
