Kate Middleton Reportedly Almost ‘Blew Chances’ With Prince William

Kate Middleton was dead set on marrying Prince William. But the mom of three almost blew off her chances even before the Duke of Cambridge proposed to her.

In the book “William’s Princess,” royal author Robert Jobson said that the Duchess of Cambridge was well aware of the fact that one wrong move could’ve ended her relationship with the Duke of Cambridge. This is the reason why she endured being photographed almost every day of her life.

The Duchess of Cambridge appeared happy and at ease with the paparazzi, and the majority of her pictures on the front pages of magazines and newspapers showed her smiling from ear to ear.

However, the palace suddenly decided to step in, and they issued a legal letter to the media urging them to leave Middleton alone. According to Jobson, the press felt that Prince William and Middleton have gone too far after the letter was released.

“They had been too defensive and taken the situation too seriously. There is more than a bit of hypocrisy going on here. Kate is a stunning girl and she knows exactly what the camera wants,” he said.

But Jobson also said that Middleton already understood that she needs to play by the palace rules so she stopped cooperating with the press.

“But to portray her as a frightened rabbit caught in the headlights is just absurd. She is an astute woman who knows how to handle herself with the media. She laughs, flirts even, with the guys,” the source said.

The royal author added that cooperating with the press could’ve meant blowing her chances with Prince William, and she didn’t want this to happen.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton also made headlines this week after details from the latter’s 38^th birthday celebration was released.

According to Closer Weekly, Middleton’s parents, Queen Elizabeth, her husband, and three kids were present at her bash. The Duchess of Cambridge also received special presents from her loved ones.
