Kate Middleton Uses Photoshop For Princess Charlotte’s Flawless Photos, Photography Expert Says

Kate Middleton uses software to make her photos look flawless.

On Thursday, Kensington Palace released three new photos of Princess Charlotte to celebrate her fourth birthday. According to Glenn Gratton, a photography expert from West London, Middleton’s secret to making the photo look flawless is Photoshop.

“She's clearly using Photoshop to make the best of colours throughout the sets of pictures,” Gratton told Femail.

“It's used to enhance colours, control levels of light and give a boost where needed to a photograph - especially if it’s been shot outside using natural light or if a portrait has been back lit by the sun,” he added.

Gratton also praised Middleton’s photography style for being natural rather than being too rehearsed. He believes that another factor could be her relationship with her subject.

“Of course her children feel comfortable being photographed by their mother or someone they know or trust and that way you’ll get the best results naturally,” he explained.

Last week, Kensington Palace released new snaps of Prince Louis to celebrate his first birthday. Bronwen Sharpe praised Middleton’s work and said that the duchess has the “natural ability to capture humanity.”

She believes that Middleton’s clever photography techniques include the use of lighting and focus. The duchess also has an eye for color and composition.

Meanwhile, photographer Jamie Harris pointed out how Middleton’s photography skills have improved since her first royal baby portrait of Prince George. She also noticed how Middleton dressed up her children in bright outfits to make a “photo pop.”
