  • Carole Middleton is a natural mother to her children

Kate Middleton’s mom, Carole Middleton, was praised for being a fun grandmother.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s family is very private. Unlike Meghan Markle’s father and siblings, the Middletons never give interviews and speak about Middleton to the press. Thus, only few details about them are known.

However, Carole showed everyone her fun side when she played with an inflatable lightsaber in a clip shared on their family business Party Pieces’ Instagram account.

“What a fun grandmother and mom she must be!!“ one Instagram user commented.

“What a sweet and playful side of Carole,“ another follower wrote on the post.

Several cheered on Carole, with some writing “Go Carole“ and “Team Carole.”

Carole is very hands-on when it comes to Prince William and Duchess Kate’s kids. Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stepped out together to attend the Queen’s annual Diplomatic Corps Reception at Buckingham Palace. It was later learned that Carole watched over the three royal kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as she was seen leaving Kensington Palace in the evening when Prince William and Middleton were thought to be at home from the party.

Carole and Michael also looked after their grandchildren when they joined the Cambridge family during their vacation in Mustique. The future king and queen were spotted at the famous Basil’s Bar enjoying a wild night out. Eyewitnesses said that they were able to go out and enjoy themselves because Middleton’s parents were there for the kids.

Aside from being a fun grandmother, Katie Nicholl said in her book, “Kate: The Future Queen,” that Carole was a “natural mother.” Shortly after welcoming Middleton, she quickly established a routine with regular eating and sleeping times.

Also, she prioritized motherhood over her career. Carole loved to be a flight attendance, but she resigned and gave it up because she knew that “globe-trotting, working shifts and spending days and nights abroad were not conducive to raising a family.”
