It looks like Kate Gosselin just added an unofficial ninth member to her reality-TV brood. The “Kate Plus 8” star is rumored to be dating again five years after announcing her split from husband and former “Jon and Kate Plus 8” co-star Jon Gosselin. But just who is the reality-TV mom’s new man?

Kate’s new boyfriend is a 51-year-old businessman named Jeff Prescott, according to a report from E! News. Despite Kate, 39, being linked to her married bodyguard, Steve Neild, since 2009, the outlet reports that the TLC star has been seeing Prescott, a Tennesseean, since October. The duo was reportedly first spotted together in New York City in the fall when Kate was filming Season 14 of Donald Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” series.

While Prescott may not be as well-known as Kate, he has made a name for himself in business. According to his LinkedIn profile, he is the COO and co-founder of Dreamstime.com, a digital stock photography supply company estimated to be worth $25 million. On his profile, he lists children, the environment, health and poverty alleviation as a few of the causes he cares about. With Kate’s new role on “Celebrity Apprentice,” and Camp Barnabas -- a Christian camp that helps children affected by life-threatening illnesses -- as her leading charity, we're sure this rumored couple has a lot to talk about.

But it isn’t just business the lovebirds have in common. Just like Kate, Prescott is a divorced parent. While he may not have as many kids as Kate’s eight -- 14-year-old twins Mara and Cara and 10-year-old sextuplets, Leah, Aaden, Hannah, Alexis, Joel and Collin -- he does have three children of his own. His children’s ages and names are unknown at this time.

Unfortunately for fans hoping for a glimpse of Kate’s new relationship, it appears Prescott will not appear on the four-part installment of “Kate Plus 8” set to premiere on TLC later this month. “The relatively new couple have obviously kept a low profile, refraining from venturing out in public side-by-side,” reports E! News.

Kate’s ex-husband, on the other hand, might appear on one episode. In October, Jon, 37, was spotted filming a garage sale episode near the family’s hometown of Wernersville, Pennsylvania. Kate’s bodyguard and rumored love interest Neild was also present for the event.

Kate, who has yet to address the dating rumors on social media, last opened up about her love life in June. “Unless I meet them in Target or in my kitchen, that’s the only place I’m going to meet someone,” she told Extra TV. “If I could sort down my texts, and get below all of my children’s constant texts, I might find a text that might come from a guy someday. But so far, I haven’t found any. Who has time? Let’s be honest … I’m so way too busy to even find a cleaning lady, so the man has to come after the cleaning lady.”
