Katherine Heigl Is 'Not Worth It' To Work It, Insider Says

Katherine Heigl is rumored to be an on-set diva in Hollywood, which has apparently hurt her career. But the former “Grey’s Anatomy” star isn’t the problem, according to The Hollywood Reporter, it’s her mother and manager, Nancy Heigl.

"I have never experienced anything like Nancy Heigl," the insider told THR. "It's about the mouth. 'F--- you. You are a f---ing liar.' Whatever you'd say, you were an idiot. The call would be, 'This is the worst craft service we've ever had! There's nothing to eat! This is the worst wardrobe!' You knew that every day, you were going to get slammed."

Then the source added, “The frustrating part is [Heigl] is incredibly talented and smart."

Though “Life As We Know It” producer Denise Di Novi, who worked with Heigl on the set, said the accusations are “way exaggerated,” she added that the star and her mother, "are not shrinking violets. They're very straightforward and tell you what they think."

The film’s director doesn’t seem to have a problem with the blonde beauty either, and told THR, "I would work with her again in a heartbeat."

Whether it’s her mother’s fault or not, Heigl seems to have developed a bad reputation in Hollywood and she was reportedly nixed from a roll so the team didn’t have to deal with someone who might be hard to work with.

"On many levels, she would have been perfect for the role, but all of us said, 'She's not worth it,’” an anonymous TV executive was quoted as saying in the Hollywood Repoter story.
