  • Katherine Schwarzenegger fired back after husband Chris Pratt was dubbed "Hollywood's worst Chris"
  • Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. also defended their "Avengers" co-star
  • Pratt was pitted against Chris Pine, Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans

Many celebrities weren’t happy that Chris Pratt was dubbed the “worst Hollywood Chris.” His wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger, naturally rushed to his defense.

The controversy started Saturday when producer Amy Berg shared on Twitter four photos of actors named Chris – Pratt, Chris Pine, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth. She asked her fans to choose one from the group that “has to go."

Many fans voted for Pratt, with one commenter saying: “Chris Pratt is out, Chris Messina is in for a 16 month trial run.” Others opted for the “Guardians of the Galaxy” star because of his political views, while some pointed out his ties to the Hillsong Church, which has been accused of being anti-LGBTQ, as their reason for naming him their least favorite Chris.

E! News, meanwhile, also took to its Instagram to hop on the commotion and asked its followers which of the Chrises is the best. The outlet also posted photos of Pratt, Hemsworth, Pine and Evans.

“It's an age-old debate: Which Hollywood Chris is the best? Marvel, weigh in, and see which actor the internet is giving the boot to,” the outlet captioned the post.

However, Schwarzenegger was having none of it and called out the outlet for adding noise to the frenzy. Pratt’s wife questioned if this comparison was what everyone needed at this trying time.

“There’s so much going on in the world and people struggling in so many ways. Being mean is so yesterday,” Pratt’s wife commented on the E! News post Monday.

“There’s enough room to love all these guys. Love is what we all need not meanness and bullying. Let’s try that,” she added.

Apart from Schwarzenegger, Pratt’s friends also showered him with praise on social media. Mark Ruffalo, who plays Hulk in the “Avengers” franchise, seconded the author’s sentiments.

“You all, @prattprattpratt is as solid a man there is. I know him personally, and instead of casting aspersions, look at how he lives his life,” Ruffalo tweeted.

Josh Gad replied to Ruffalo’s post on Tuesday, tweeting, “They don’t get better than @prattprattpratt.”

“Iron Man” actor Robert Downey Jr. also defended his co-star, who said that Pratt is a “real Christian who lives by principle, has never demonstrated anything but positivity and gratitude.”

“If you take issue with Chris,,, I’ve got a novel idea. Delete your social media accounts, sit with your OWN defects of character, work on THEM, then celebrate your humanness… @prattprattpratt I #gotyerbackbackback,” Downey said.
