Katie Holmes ‘Always On The Phone’ Amid Jamie Foxx Long-Distance Relationship

Katie Holmes and boyfriend Jamie Foxx are on opposite coasts. The actress is currently staying in New York while the actor is busy with his engagements in Los Angeles. So could their long-distance relationship be the reason why Holmes is always preoccupied with her phone?

On Sunday, the “Dawson’s Creek” alum was photographed while she was going out for a stroll in the Big Apple. Holmes, who was seen rocking a white t-shirt and denim jeans for the casual stroll, appeared to be very attentive to her phone conversation throughout the walk.

At one point, Katie was captured laughing while holding her phone close to her mouth. She also chose to wear wired earphones for the conversation, so she won’t have to place her phone near her face all of the time.

Earlier this week, the 40-year-old actress was also snapped when she stepped out sans daughter Suri Cruise. For her Thursday afternoon outing, Holmes opted to wear a sleeveless black jumpsuit with a vertical striped design. She also had a tie-up belt that helped emphasized her figure.

In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, Katie was also noticeably chatting away on her smartphone throughout her solo stroll. In some photos, Tom Cruise’s ex-wife is seen grinning while listening attentively to the person speaking on the opposite end of the call.

While it’s not clear if it’s Foxx who was calling Holmes on both outings, it’s wouldn’t be a shock if it’s indeed the actor checking on his girlfriend from time to time. The Academy Award-winning actor has been busy with his engagements in the City of Angles. The 51-year-old is also spending time with daughter Corinne, 25, there.

Last month, Katie and Jamie surprised many fans when they made their public debut as a couple at the Met Gala. They have been together for years, but it was the first time that they made their official red carpet appearance as a couple.

Corinne, who serves as DJ on Foxx’s game show “Beat Shazam,” approves of the romance between her father and Holmes. She told People that the two Hollywood stars are “really happy” together. “They’re so great, and Katie’s always so chic,” she added.
