Katie Holmes and Bobby Wooten III have called it quits, and the actress is making an effort to move on quickly, according to a report.

An insider exclusively told Us Weekly Friday that the pair put an end to their romantic relationship last week after dating for eight months. International Business Times could not independently verify this information.

The anonymous source noted that since the split, Holmes, 43, hasn't spoken about the 33-year-old musician to the latter's pals.

"Katie and Bobby broke up last week, she's no longer [talking] about him to his friends. They just didn't work out together for the long run," the tipster said.

Following her spit from Wooten, the "Dawson's Creek" alum was spotted with former New York Rangers player Henrik Lundqvist at New York City's Jingle Ball on Dec. 2, according to the entertainment news outlet.

Holmes and Wooten were open about their relationship, which started in April. The pair even made their red carpet debut as a couple at The Moth's 25th Anniversary Gala, The Silver Ball, the following month.

In the same month, Holmes and Wooten packed on the PDA when they were spotted gallivanting in New York City. During the sighting, they round bikes together and stopped by a local restaurant to grab a meal. They were photographed kissing while on a break from their bike ride.

Holmes and Wooten also stepped out for a dinner date on the Upper West Side in July, weeks after attending a close pal's wedding in Montauk, New York. Their relationship appeared to have gotten more serious at the time since the actress already met and spent time with Wooten's family.

Before Wooten, Holmes dated New York City chef Emilio Vitolo Jr., but they split in 2021 due to their busy schedules. However, some reports said their romance "fizzled" out.

"The pair have parted ways amicably but remain friends," Holmes' spokesperson told Us Weekly at the time.

She was in a long-term relationship with actor Jamie Foxx before that. The two were together from 2013 to 2019.

Holmes was also married to Tom Cruise for six years before they split in 2012. The former couple shares a 16-year-old daughter, Suri.
