Katie Holmes Shares About Choosing Love Over Hate, Adulthood Struggles Following Jamie Foxx Split

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have, reportedly, been together for six years before they decided to end their romance in August 2019. Approximately five months since they, allegedly, separated, neither Tom Cruise’s ex-wife nor the “Django Unchained” star has revealed the main reason behind their infamous split. However, recently, the “Batman Begins” actress shared an interesting update about her life since she broke up with Jamie.

On Jan. 26, Katie posted a popular quote by Martin Luther King, Jr. on her official Instagram page. “I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear,” the post read. The mother of Suri Cruise included five people with folded hands emojis in the caption.

Katie Holmes, earlier this month, also shared a meme showing three birds balancing on a tree branch. In the photo, one bird was clinging onto the branch with a “Me trying my best” caption while two other birds were positioned upright with “Real adults” in the caption.

The “First Daughter” actress’s posts came amid the rumors saying that she is not on good terms with Jamie Foxx, following their breakup. Reports suggested that Katie was not pleased after learning about Jamie, allegedly, cheating on her with Sela Vave.

In July 2019, Jamie revealed how he and the aspiring singer met during an interview with Los Angeles’s Power 106 FM. "When I meet her, next thing you know, I come out she's sitting on my stairs with an acoustic guitar singing a broke down version of Beyoncé," Katie’s former lover said. "She wasn't trying to be Fantasia [Barrino] or Whitney Houston. You know how hard it is to play the guitar and be quiet?" he went on, before adding that Sela is going to make some noise in the music industry.

Katie Holmes has yet to comment on the reports claiming that Sela Vave is the main reason behind her split from Jamie Foxx. Hence, avid followers of the “Jack and Jill” actress should take these speculations lightly until everything is proven true and correct.

Meanwhile, Katie’s forthcoming movie titled “Coda” just released its first trailer. The American actress, who will portray as music critic Helen Morrison, is set to star with Patrick Stewart, who will play as Henry Cole. Per Entertainment Tonight Canada, the character of Katie Holmes will help Patrick’s Henry with his onset stage fright after the passing of his better half.
