Katie Holmes Spends Quality Time With Suri Amid Jamie Foxx Split Rumors

Katie Holmes was photographed twice in New York on Thursday amid rumors of her split from longtime boyfriend Jamie Foxx.

The 40-year-old actress was first spotted spending some quality time with daughter Suri Cruise on Thursday morning. Holmes wore a long denim coat and white retro Adidas trainers as the mother-daughter stepped out for a walk. She wore dark sunglasses and tied back her hair into a ponytail.

Suri, on the other hand, wore a Dolce and Gabbana coat and paired it with ballet slippers, Daily Mail reported.

A few hours later, she was spotted hurrying through the streets wearing a light blue buttoned-up shirt and a high-waisted skirt. She carried a black clutch and completed her look with nude heels and cat-eyed frames.

The split rumors gained momentum after Foxx announced he was single during a charity Oscars gala in late February.

'It was very nonchalant, while he was referring to married and single couples, he just dropped the line, ‘I'm single,’” a source told US Weekly.

The couple was first spotted dancing together in 2013, however, they went to great lengths to keep their relationship a secret.

“Their relationship seems so much more serious this year. Katie and Jamie keep having public dates, and although they try to not be photographed together, they are clearly not as concerned about keeping their relationship private,” a source told People.

Amid rumors of a breakup, a source told Entertainment Tonight in 2018 that they were an unconventional couple.

“They’ve always lived very independent lives, but try to make time to see each other. It’s not uncommon for them to go long stretches without seeing each other. And they’re still very, very private. You’re not going to hear or see every time they’re together because they don’t flaunt their relationship in public,” the source had said.

Holmes is set to have a busy year with three films in hand including "The Boy 2" and "The Secret and Coda".
