Katy Perry Addresses Concert Date With Orlando Bloom: Are They Back Together?

“Swish Swish” singer Katy Perry parted ways with “Pirates of the Caribbean” star Orlando Bloom this February, but neither of them have successfully moved on with another person after their split. So when they were spotted hanging out together during Ed Sheeran’s Aug. 12 concert, people had to ask: are they together again?

As far as Perry is concerned, their relationship has no label, and they’re simply enjoying being in each other’s lives. “Well you know, I think people are in and out of your life,” she said during “The Morning Mashup,” a SiriusXM Hits 1 program. “It’s nice to keep people you love around you.”

But despite the love she has for Bloom, Perry said it might be difficult to commit to one another given their busy schedules. “When you get older, lines get blurred,” she explained. “And you know what, I’m really busy. I’m about to go on tour for another year.”

Perry and Bloom’s reps confirmed their split with Us Weekly just two days after they attended Vanity Fair’s Oscars afterparty. “Before rumors or falsifications get out of hand, we can confirm that Orlando and Katy are taking respectful, loving space at this time,” their reps said in a statement released on Feb. 28.

Meanwhile, a source close to Perry said that the former couple realized that “they make better best friends than they do partners.”

“They’re not the best at long distance,” a different source added, since Bloom “wasn’t ready for something more serious.”

Aside from Bloom, Perry was previously linked to musicians like John Mayer and Diplo. During a talk with James Corden during her 72-hour YouTube livestream, the singer got candid about her love life and even ranked her ex-boyfriends from best to worst in terms of their abilities in the bedroom.

Perry and Corden played a question and answer game in the livestream, and the rule was for Perry to answer a question from Corden or eat a questionable snack. When asked about her ex-boyfriends’ prowess in the bedroom, the 32-year-old pop star decided to weigh in. “They’re all amazing lovers and I would have sex with all of them after I get out of this place!” she said.

“Working on the notion that they’re all good,” Perry ranked Mayer as her No. 1, followed by Bloom. Diplo ranked last.
