Kenya Moore Advises ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ Star NeNe Leakes To Divorce Gregg
NeNe Leakes’ rep may have slammed Kenya Moore’s affair accusations, but it appears the former beauty queen is standing by her initial claims. In a new interview, Kenya insisted NeNe’s rumored affair was real and shared her thoughts about what the Swagg Boutique owner should do about her marriage to Gregg Leakes.
Last week, sources claimed NeNe was openly having an affair with a man named Rodney White. Following the reports, Kenya slammed NeNe’s behavior and claimed the Bravo cast was aware of NeNe’s indiscretion.
However, during an interview with the Daily Mail, Kenya advised NeNe to end her marriage rather than continue to cheat on her husband. “I think if she’s going to have affairs, she doesn’t need to be married,” she told the outlet.
“If she wants to be with someone else, then you should get divorced and be with someone else. I got married to not cheat on my husband, I got married because I wanted to be a faithful wife, and I have been a very faithful wife, and committed and loving and kind. I may not always have that reciprocated, but that is what I am held to, and that is the standard that God has set for us.”
In September, Kenya announced her plans to divorce her husband Marc Daly, but the two have since decided to work on their marriage. Their initial split was featured on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” Season 12, which resulted in NeNe sharing some unwanted advice for her co-star.
Kenya, who was not interested in NeNe’s opinion, called the 52-year-old a “hypocrite” for trying to get involved with her relationship.
“I believe that her marriage is a joke. For her to try and give me advice on a successful marriage when her own is a sham,” she told the Daily Mail.
“I believe she’s a big hypocrite because she’s already divorced [Gregg], and she’s stated that, in various interviews, that she does what she wants to do,” Kenya added.
NeNe’s reps have since dismissed Kenya’s allegations regarding the affair rumors.
