Kevin Jonas Shares Info On New App, His Baby And Returning To TV At 2015 Shorty Awards

Kevin Jonas is taking social media by storm! The eldest Jonas Brother hit the red carpet on Monday night during the 2015 Shorty Awards to discuss his latest obsession: apps -- specifically his app Yood!

“Yood! Is a food discovery app,” the 27-year-old founder and CEO of Flashopp told reporters during the 7th annual event that honors the best and brightest in social media. Jonas, who was accompanied by his wife Danielle Deleasa, revealed that his company was preparing to launch a second version of the food-lovers apps. “It has a ton more features -- maybe an Apple watch integration. It’s exciting," he exlplained.

After dishing a few teasers about his upcoming product, Jonas went on to discuss the exciting accomplishments being made by his brother Nick Jonas, who recently performed at the 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards.

“I was working last night. I didn't get to check it out,” Kevin admitted to the International Business Times of his brother's Sunday night performance. “But I saw the video this morning. He did a great job. It was cool.”

Nick, who recently decided to pursue a solo career, performed a mashup of his two hit singles “Jealous” and “Chains” with country duo Dan + Shay during the 50th annual award show. Kevin stated that he thought his 22-year-old little brother was doing a “good job” on his new musical journey.

But that’s not all the Snap Chat-loving techie divulged during his red carpet appearance. He also dished an update on his daughter Alena Rose, who was born in February 2014. “She’s starting to talk more!” he gushed about his firstborn.

Kevin explained that he and Danielle are enjoying parenthood, which is why they’re putting other career endeavors on hold for the moment -- like returning to reality TV. When asked if fans could expect to see the “Married to Jonas” stars back on the small screen anytime soon, Kevin replied, “Maybe!”

“We’ve got a couple projects in the works but nothing locked down for sure right now,” he revealed to reporters. “We definitely enjoy it. We’ll see. We want to be parents you know for a little while. Have other things going on. But it’s good to be back!”
