Khloe Kardashian Going Bald? Stress Over Pregnancy, Divorce Rumors Could Be Making Reality Star Lose Her Hair: Report
The months of turmoil in her marriage to NBA player Lamar Odom, and most recently, her rumored pregnancy, appear to have taken a physical toll on reality TV star Khloe Kardashian.
In the most recent print issue of Star magazine, an image of the 29-year-old "Keep Up With the Kardashians" star displays what appears to be a recent bout of hair loss. While Kardashian has yet to comment on the rumors, a doctor (who has never treated the E! starlet) told the magazine that her alleged loss of brunette tresses could be medically and/or stress related.
"There are two possibilities I would consider," said Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Douglas Hamilton. "One is a type of hair shedding called telogen effluvium, which can come from hormone changes and is often stress-related. The other is an autoimmune condition called alopecia aerate, which is consistent with her patchy hair loss."
Whether the rumors are true or not, it is indisputable that Kardashian has faced her fair share of drama in recent months. The most recent allegation facing the reality star? According to a report from MediaTakeOut.com Tuesday, Kardashian is pregnant with her first child despite filing for divorce from her athlete beau of four years, 34-year-old Los Angeles Clippers forward Lamar Odom, in December.
"Khloe Kardashian IS PREGNANT," reads the sites report, adding, "That's not rumors yawl either… ITS FACTS!!" According to the gossip site, only a few, mainly members of the Kardashian family, are privy to the baby news. Allegedly, Kardashian is unsure who is the unborn child's biological father, but is "pretty sure" that it is Odom.
In recent weeks, Kardashian also has been rumored to be seeing a new man following her split from Odom, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp. Despite reports that they are an item, and photographic evidence that Kemp, 29, visited her momager Kris Jenner's home, an insider claims the pair are "just friends."
