Khloé Kardashian, Lamar Odom Update: Reality Star Cuts Hair After Divorce Dismissal
“Keeping Up With the Kardashains” star Khloé Kardashian just had a major hair moment: She cut off her long, luscious locks. The youngest Kardashian sister hasn’t had short hair in years but opted for a lob (a long bob) amid caring for her ailing husband, ex-NBA star Lamar Odom.
Celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin, who has worked with A-listers like Katy Perry, Jessica Alba and Sofia Vergara, posted a photo of Kardashian’s ‘do Sunday. “Guess who just joined the #ShortHairDontCare club! Do we like?” Atkin captioned the photo of the reality star, 31, posing for the camera in her new style. “#LOBS4LIFE.”
The drastic hair change came a day before Kardashian thanked her fans for their “patience” while she helped take care of Odom, who was found unconscious Oct. 13 in a brothel outside Las Vegas.
She issued her second statement since Odom was rushed to the hospital. "Thank you dolls SO much for your patience while I needed some time off," Kardashian wrote on her website Monday. "I'm excited to be back in the mix bringing you some awesome content. Your love and support has meant the world to me. XOXO, Khloé."
Odom, 35, “definitely” needs a kidney transplant, a source told Us Weekly Monday. But that’s not his only problem. The main thing is that he reportedly suffered brain damage. "That's the most serious thing he's dealing with," an insider said.
Doctors don’t know how badly his brain is damaged. "He'll get more of his motor skills back gradually, but cognitively, he's not where he used to be,” a source said.
The former Los Angeles Lakers player is also finding it hard to speak. "He can say a few words," an insider said.
Even though the two called off their divorce, Karadshian reportedly gave Odom an ultimatum: If he starts to do drugs again, she will leave him, TMZ reported Monday.
