Khloé Kardashian Spends 'Hospital Thanksgiving' With Lamar Odom After Family Dinner; Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Also Visit
Khloé Kardashian is "extra thankful” for this year’s thanksgiving as her quarantine over the staph infection got over. She also planned to host a meal at home with friends and family, along with a visit to the hospital to see her estranged husband Lamar Odom. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West also visited Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where Odom is currently being treated for his October overdose.
Khloé had been under quarantine over the last week due to a staph infection, which she reportedly got while caring for Odom at the hospital, and was not able to see her family over the past few days. On Wednesday, Khloé had written on Twitter that 2015 had been her "worst year" ever and in the blog post on her website Thursday she thanked her family for the support.
"We have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving, and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving," Khloé announced in her post. The announcement about spending thanksgiving at the hospital comes after a report from People magazine Monday saying -- citing a source -- that she was "devastated that she can't go to the hospital and visit Lamar" due to the quarantine.
"That's the thing that is bothering her most about the infection," the source also added.
Khloé, who said in her post that he had spent six hours cooking the meal for the Thanksgiving dinner, also said in the post: "When times get tough, my family seems to thrive and band together," adding: "Without my crazy, chaotic, amazing family, I'm not sure how I could have gone through some of the things that I was tested with this year."
According to reports, Odom was recovering well, but a report by Radar Online Tuesday said that the Kardashiahn family was lying about Odom's health so that they do not have to visit the former Lakers star often. "He really only ever mumbles, and can barely string a few words together. It’s obvious he has extensive brain damage," an insider told Radar Online about Odom, adding: "Lamar’s still having a lot of trouble speaking."
Another report Tuesday by People magazine said, citing a source, that "Lamar won't likely leave the hospital for a long time," adding: "And when he does, he will need full-time care. He can't take care of himself."
Khloé also posted several pictures and posts about her thanksgiving cooking and the meal on Twitter. Meanwhile, Khloé’s sister Kim posted family a picture on Instagram captioning it “Thankful.”
