Khloe Kardashian Trying To ‘Stay Positive’ After Tristan Thompson’s Paternity Test Results, Apology

Khloe Kardashian is focusing on herself after ex Tristan Thompson admitted he fathered Maralee Nichols’ baby.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, 37, is doing her best to keep her head up after the 30-year-old NBA player’s admission that he was unfaithful while they were still dating last year and his apology, an unnamed source familiar with the matter told Entertainment Tonight Tuesday.

“[She] has been doing her best to stay positive, take care of herself both mentally and physically, and continue to focus on her biggest priority, True,” the insider said.

The source went on to reveal that Kardashian and Thompson have been in touch since the latter’s public apology, but their communication has been strictly about their 3-year-old daughter and nothing more.

“Khloe and Tristan are in touch about logistical things and about what's going on with True, and that's really the focus when they're communicating. He has been apologetic and attempting to make things better,” the source said.

Amid the ordeal, Kardashian is getting the support of her family as they try to “uplift her” while dealing with the aftermath of the paternity test results, the insider added.

The Sacramento Kings player made headlines Monday when he took to his Instagram Story to announce the result of the paternity testing. In the same post, he confirmed that he is taking “full responsibility” and is planning to “amicably” raise his child with Nichols.

In a follow-up post, Thompson apologized to Kardashian saying she didn’t “deserve the heartache and humiliation that I have caused you.”

Kardashian and Thompson ended their relationship for a second time in June last year amid rumors that the latter had been unfaithful. The couple first called it quits in 2019 when Thompson was linked to Kylie Jenner’s close friend Jordyn Woods. However, they got back together a year later when they spent time with their daughter during the lockdown.

Meanwhile, moments before his public apology this week, the athlete was spotted picking up his daughter with Kardashian from a gymnastics class.

Video footage exclusively obtained by TMZ showed Tristan sitting in a waiting SUV outside of True’s class. The clip also captured the moment a delivery man dropped off about 100 roses that the NBA star ordered as a gift for his daughter.
